“Not only does Kara do a superb job with my students’ flutes, piccolos, and alto flutes, but with my own professional models as well. She does a wonderful job with the annual “COA” (Clean, Oil, and Adjust), and is always careful to check for “play” in the keys. The instruments always come back shiny and clean, with evenness in the mechanism, and leak free. She is also great with noticing dents that I never have seen, and removing them with ease! I appreciate that the instruments are done quickly, and the price is very affordable. I am so happy to have Kara to repair here in the valley!”

I recently took my beautiful, but neglected, 30 year old gold flute to Kara for repair. What started out as an overhaul, unexpectedly turned into a project that required her to literally rebuild the flute, replacing everything, resoldering all the places that needed soldering, and updating it in ways I may never know. The flute that was returned to me was completely renewed and restored to its original luster. In fact, I believe that after her work on it, it is now playing better than it ever has, and I have fallen in love with it all over again! I would highly recommend Kara to work on any flute from beginner to any professional instrument. She certainly turned my high-end and trusty, but old friend, into a beautiful instrument that I love playing every day.
